Statement from Halite Energy: outcome of judicial review
Keith Budinger, chief executive of Halite Energy, said: “I can confirm that judgement was handed down in the High Court today (17.01.2014) quashing the decision made by the Secretary of State for Energy & Climate Change in April 2013 to refuse consent for our project. The High Court has upheld Halite’s legal challenge on all grounds.
“The Board of Halite Energy Group will be working with its legal and planning advisers and looks forward to participating in the process that will lead to a redetermination of our application by the Secretary of State.”
